Mechanical Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Mechanical Technicianto join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing low-pressure foam dispensing equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality equipment. We would like to minimize customer downtime, increase supply, and improve customer satisfaction. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement devices (calipers, wire wheels, etc.). Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to stand, lift, and work with hands for extended periods. Good communication and teamwork skills. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Manage and support inventory needs for parts, pumps, dispensing guns and machines. Plan/schedule maintenance work and assembly builds, prioritizing urgent supply needs. Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining and making the required adjustments, allowing the machinery to run at available capacity and speed. Ability to be amiable and teach customers proper maintenance procedures. Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the software program and program newly produced control panels. Troubleshoot programmable controllers and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use. Follow up to ensure repairs are performed properly. Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines. Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including OSHA standards.· Additional duties may be assigned by management. This position requires a dedicated individual with a solid foundation in mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
