Identifying nonconformities, communicating amp; documenting issues as they arise, maintaining compliance with ThermTech's Quality Management System, amp; working with production team members when needed.Principle Duties amp; Responsibilities:Follow schedules amp; process work to exceed customer expectationsUse cranes or manual lifting (depending on part size) to transfer components from ThermTech heat treating baskets/grids to customer containersUtilize the hot list amp; priority list for productsPerform daily walk through with prior shift for verification of testing instruments.Safe amp; efficient operation of all equipment within the Inspection Department CellLearn proper testing locations based off of work instructions or part configurationAssist in developing appropriate inspection techniques where requiredCounting amp; identifying parts prior to inspection for verification of specific ordersMust understand proper packaging of parts included but not limited to the following:o Wrapping of parts to prevent damageo Shrink wrap and banding of parts to skidso UPS packaging, double boxingo Appropriate tagging/identification practiceMaintain verification test blocks amp; communicate with Equipment Quality when replacements are requiredPerform basic maintenance amp; adjustments on inspection equipmentAssist with production when neededUnderstand tagging amp; transfer proceduresUnderstand the processing of all material within production areasEnsure plant organization amp; cleanlinessMinimum Requirements:All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test amp; background check.Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferredAcquire/maintain forklift certificationExperience: Prior factory work preferredHard Skills:Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment amp; proceduresBasic computer skillsBasic math knowledgeEnglish reading proficiencySafety-focused mindsetProficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularlySoft Skills:Excellent written amp; verbal communication skillsExcellent time managementAttention to detailOrganizedAdaptabilitySelf-motivatedAble to work collaboratively with othersWillingness to learn amp; take direction
