We are looking for a dedicated CT Tech PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures using computerized tomography scanners. This role is responsible for creating cross-section images of patients' masses and internal organs for medical analysis. The technologist maintains a safe and clean working environment, follows quality assurance guidelines, and ensures the safety and comfort of the patient throughout the exam.What you will do in this role:You will perform all requested computed tomography examinations and document patient care servicesYou will operate radiology equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain equipment inventoriesYou will ensure patient safety and comfort during transport and throughout the examYou will administer contrast agents under the guidance of a site RadiologistYou will maintain a safe, clean, and cooperative work environment by adhering to hospital policies and infection control protocolsYou will provide images in the desired format and contribute to the team effort as neededYou will maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous education and professional developmentWhat qualifications you will need:Current ARRT registrationComputer Tomography certification strongly preferred or acquired within six months of hire1 year post-graduate related experience strongly preferredCurrent BLS certification (or obtained 30 days from hire) TriStar Horizon Medical Center is an accredited, 150+ bed regional medical center.
