Temp Hot Press Operator

Applies basic and some advanced technical skills and knowledge to perform all of the primary work operations required to chemically clean to remove grease, scale, dirt, and other foreign matter from material or parts for operational aircraft applications. Essential Functions and Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms tasks that are simple to moderately complex requiring some skill, experience and judgment to complete relative to cleaning parts manually or by operating automated clean line equipment. Works under close to general supervision and determines plans and actions from standard procedural alternatives. Reviews work instructions, operations manuals and other documentation to define the requirement for the processing of the parts are material to be cleaned. Loads objects on conveyor that carries them through series of chemical and rinsing baths, or places objects on racks or in containers and immerses objects in chemical and rinsing solutions. Starts the process equipment and monitor the process line equipment to ensure proper overall operation.RequirementsHigh school or equivalent and two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
