Location: Horicon, WisconsinType: ContractJob #102827Title : Production Validation EngineerLocation : Horicon, WisconsinDetails : Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite rolePay Rate : $42.00 - 45.00/hr. with benefit inclusionsJob SummaryThe Production Validation and Verification Engineer manages and coordinates product validation and verification (PV&V) programs for mechanical and electrical systems. This role focuses on planning, tracking, and execution oversight of testing activities rather than hands?on testing. The engineer works closely with design teams, suppliers, and cross?functional partners to ensure validation programs are executed on time, risks are identified early, and results are clearly communicated. Time on the production or test floor is required as needed.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and track PV&V programs from component-level testing through full system development.Coordinate validation activities with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, suppliers, and validation teams.Develop and manage comprehensive PV&V plans including laboratory, virtual analysis, and field validation activities.Track schedules, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple programs using structured project management practices.Serve as the primary supplier interface, fielding technical questions and ensuring alignment to validation requirements.Coordinate and review work performed by validation engineers, technicians, and support teams to confirm compliance with specifications.Analyze program status, metrics, and issues using Excel-based tools and report progress to stakeholders.Communicate validation progress, risks, and results to engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply management, and related teams.Support problem-solving and corrective action efforts when validation gaps or failures are identified.Years of Experience and EducationBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent discipline.3+ years of experience in product development, validation, verification, reliability, or engineering program coordination.Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or engineering environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.Skills RequiredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated use in program tracking, data analysis, and reporting.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.Proven self-starter capable of working independently with minimal direction.Experience working with suppliers, including coordination and technical communication.Project management experience, including schedule tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Understanding of product verification and validation processes and principles.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to spend time on the production or test floor as required.#LI-MJ1
