In this leadership position, you will oversee day-to-day concession stand operations while supervising and supporting a team of volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoys leading teams during major sporting events.Anticipated Start Date: Between May 30th & August 25th -- dependent on orientation date.**Key Responsibilities:**+ **Team Leadership & Supervision** : Supervise, train, and support volunteer group members, assigning tasks based on strengths and operational needs.Foster teamwork, motivation, and accountability to ensure efficient stand operations.+ **Stand Operations Management** : Oversee all concession stand operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company and venue guidelines.Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges during events.+ **Organization & Cleanliness** : Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized concession stand at all times.Ensure products are properly stocked, displayed, and merchandised.+ **Guest Experience** : Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.+ **Compliance & Safety** : Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and Responsible Alcohol Service standards.Promote a safe working environment for team members and guests.+ **Inventory & Product Management** : Monitor inventory levels throughout events and coordinate timely restocking of products.+ **Communication** : Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors regarding staffing needs, inventory issues, or operational concerns.+ **Additional Responsibilities** : Perform other duties as assigned to support successful event operations.**Qualifications:**+ **Leadership Experience** : Minimum of one year of leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to guide and motivate a team.+ **Communication Skills** : Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.+ **Food Service Experience** : Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.+ **Age Requirement** : Must be 21 years of age or older (required for alcohol service).+ **Certifications** : Willingness to complete **Responsible Alcohol Service Certification & Food Handler's ServSafe Certification** .+ **Physical Requirements** : Ability to lift **20-45 pounds** and remain active for the duration of events.+ **Availability** : Must be available to work **all UW-Madison football home games** and the majority of sporting events at the Kohl Center Arena.**Apply to Levy today!**_Levy is a member of Compass Group USA_Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story (http://www.compass-usa.com/our-story/)**Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
