Marketing and Communications Associate

The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation is looking for an outstanding Marketing and Communications Associate (MCA) to join our amazing mission driven team! The TNBC Foundation team culture is built on kindness, respect for each other and a dedication to supporting the triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) community.This position is remote, however, there are a limited number of in-person events throughout the year which may require travel. Examples are listed in the description below.This candidate is expected to quickly learn and grow so they can fully support and provide back-up for the current team.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Social Media:Coordinate all social media communications for TNBC FoundationCreating graphics and copy for social media posts, maintaining a social media calendar.Respond to DM’s and other communications.Build and maintain relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other industry professionals to expand our reach and influence.Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize performance.Programs:Perform a variety of program-related tasks, including administrative assistance for virtual patient support meetings which may take place in the evening or during the work day.Assist with additional virtual events required throughout the yearCreate and update content and images on the TNBCF websiteCustomer Service:Reply to DM’s, voicemail and emails from patients, families, donors, and others needing assistance, ensuring all follow-up is complete.Ensure timely, accurate follow-up and connection to appropriate resourcesIn-Person Requirements:Annual Gala – All staff are required to arrive early and help with set-up, check-in guests, assist with event activities, and remain after to help with breaking down the event.Conferences –Assist the team with the logistics of exhibiting at various conferences, which will require travel on a weekend to help set up and staff the exhibitor table as well as capture content for our social channels.Social Media - Attend occasional events where social media coverage is needed.Professional Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (required)5+ years of experience in marketing and communicationsDemonstrated experience creating social media campaigns and graphicsExcellent graphic design skillsStrong writing, proofreading, and communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)Video editing skills are a plusExperience with Raiser’s Edge is a plusJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offParental leaveApplication Question(s):Review the current Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation social media pages and provide some brief thoughts.Experience:graphic design: 2 years (Preferred)Video editing: 1 year (Preferred)marketing and communications: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: RemoteSalary Range: $50,000 to $60,000Benefits:Health insurancePaid time offParental leave
