The company focuses on custom molding, tooling, assembly, and post-molding finishing solutions.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Quality Team Lead Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)The Quality Team Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of production products through meticulous inspection, verification, and team support.This position involves hands-on quality control, training, and leadership responsibilities, working closely with production teams to maintain high standards and promptly address quality issues.Key Responsibilities:Perform dimensional verification of production products utilizing various metrology equipment, gauges, and tape measures.Accurately record all required dimensional checks, Gage SPC checks, and visual inspections on Quality Control Reports (QCR), Boundary Samples, and Master Color plaques.Assist supervisors and process technicians with First/Last shot part approvals.Ensure all job totes are returned to the Quality Rack upon job completion with Last shots.Document and address quality issues identified on the production floor, initiating Red Rabbit procedures as required.Conduct Quality Control Audits on all products being produced as directed by management or shift supervisor.Quality Team Lead Qualifications:Able to Take DirectionsAbility to Work Independently, and with others.Strong overall knowledge of ProceduresOvertime as RequiredReport On-Time, and have Excellent Attendance StandardsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong Oral and Written Communications SkillsKnowledge of Measurement Systems.Ability to Read Blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and ToleranceSelf-MotivatedResponsible for Multiple TasksBasic Computer Skills/Math SkillsAble to Perform Sorting Operations as NecessaryAbility to Understand Production and Quality StandardsAll Machine Inspector/Operator Abilities.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
