CPA Assistant Plan Controller

A company is looking for an Assistant Plan Controller responsible for accounting and management reporting for health plans. Key Responsibilities Own the functional area of brokerage and member incentives within commercial accounting Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports outlining the health plan's financial position Assist in monitoring business processes to ensure integrity in financial reports and compliance with GAAP Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred 4+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or the healthcare industry CPA preferred Health plan or healthcare industry experience is highly preferred Strong proficiency in GAAP accounting and advanced Excel skills
