This is a leadership role with broad influence, high visibility, and the opportunity to shape long‑term growth through strong broker partnerships and large account leadership.You WillOwn the regional distribution strategyLead and develop an experienced marketing teamDrive profitable growth across small, middle market and large account segmentsServe as a broker-facing leaderBe a key steward of the Zenith brand and value propositionResponsibilities🔹 Lead Regional Growth & Distribution StrategyDesign and execute a strategic regional marketing plan aligned with profitable growth goalsBuild and manage the right mix of broker partners based on geography, opportunity, and capabilityLead broker prospecting, appointments, terminations, and performance optimizationDevelop deep insight into broker books, sales approaches, and competitive positioning🔹 Own Large Account MarketingLead large account marketing efforts, including early identification, engagement, and renewal strategyPartner closely with our large account underwriting team to meet with prospective policyholders and bring them through our positioning process.Bring strong working knowledge of risk‑sharing products, including:Retrospective rating plansLarge deductible programsCaptive and alternative risk structuresHelp brokers and prospective policyholders understand complex risk solutions🔹 Drive Sales Excellence & Pipeline PerformanceLead a regional marketing team that consistently delivers high‑quality submission flowEnsure strong pipeline discipline to achieve growth goalsActively engage in key new business opportunitiesCoach teams on influencing outcomes, presenting value, and overcoming barriers to close🔹 Build the Zenith Brand in the MarketEnsure agencies can clearly articulate the Zenith DifferenceLead joint presentations, agency training, and next‑generation producer engagementRepresent Zenith at industry, agency, and association eventsPartner with internal teams to evolve marketing materials, programs, and positioning🔹 Develop People & CultureCoach, develop, and inspire a team of Territory Marketing ManagersSet clear expectations, create accountability, and foster continuous improvementBuild strong, collaborative partnerships across underwriting, claims, claims legal, medical management, SIU and Safety & Health. Education Bachelor's Degree required Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesWe’re looking for a leader who brings both presence and substance:Deep understanding of insurance distribution through independent agents and brokersDemonstrated success leading both middle market and large account marketing strategiesStrong working knowledge of risk‑sharing and alternative risk productsProven ability to influence without authority and build credibility with senior stakeholdersTrack record of delivering measurable growth with underwriting disciplineStrategic thinker who can execute tacticallyConfident communicator comfortable presenting to executives, brokers, and customersNatural leader who attracts, develops, and retains top talentValid Driver’s LicenseThis role is ideal for someone who wants to lead at scale, influence outcomes, and leave a lasting mark on a region and a brand. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
