Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience across various specialties and an active SC or compact RN license.Job Details• 13-week contract at a hospital-based Operating Room,• Works across various OR specialties,• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per day, with days varying based on departmental need,• Shift hours are 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM,• On-call requirement includes one weekday call per week and one call weekend per month,Job Requirements• Active SC or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted),• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued only),• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a US hospital across various specialties,• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program,• BSN is highly desired,• US Social Security Number required,• Date of birth required for consideration,• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,Additional Information• Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or circulating for operative procedures and managing department admissions to the operative suite,• Prepares the OR for the patient and surgical procedure, assembling equipment and supplies and ensuring everything is functional and available,• Adheres to aseptic technique standards and intraoperative patient care planning in coordination with the surgical team,• Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and members of the operating team,
