Shipping CoordinatorGeorgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as a Shipping Coordinator in McDonough, GA!Salary: $26.00 per hour. You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant. This role is eligible for our Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus.Shift: TBD, but will most likely be a Monday through Friday 12 hour shift and alternate Sundays. This may include nights, overtime, holidays and weekends. McDonough operates on a point-based attendance program.Our Team: The Shipping Coordinator keeps our products moving efficiently from our McDonough, GA mailers facility to our customers. If that sounds like you, apply today and join a team that values both collaboration and personal growth.Georgia-Pacific's Mailers is a part of the Packaging and Cellulose business, the Mailers business is expanding its product lines, working with key customers to create and launch one or more new products to complement our already thriving recyclable padded mailer business.Watch a short 60 sec video to see what we do at Mailers: How We Make Mailers | Georgia-Pacific - YouTubeWhat You Will Do:Coordinating flow of shipping and receiving operationsPlan and direct all shipping daily while ensuring accuracy of shipping documentsAccurately process shipping paperworkDispatch work to the forklift drivers on the warehouse floorManaging the workload of incoming and outgoing freightPerform daily proof of billingAssist loaders with questionsProblem solving, decision making and multi-tasking skills for a fast-paced environmentMaintaining safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety practices in all business initiatives.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):Logistics, Shipping or Warehouse experienceFamiliarity with shipping or logistics software (SAP, WMS or similar)Previous Forklift Experience or willing to learn to drive a forkliftExperience using Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience performing and managing an accurate inventoryProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesOther Considerations/Physical Requirements:Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environmentHiring Philosophy: All Koch companies value diversity of thought, perspectives, aptitudes, experiences, and backgrounds.
