The Cylinder Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a Plant environment.What we offer you!Competitive compensationComprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more)401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO)Employee discount programsCareer growth opportunitiesAdditional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational level Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.Responsibilities (2nd Shift)Performs visual, physical tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are requiredPerforms cylinder conversions including de-valving, valving, stripping and repairing valvesOperates a hydrostatic cylinder tester or ultrasonic cylinder testerMaintains certification requirements to certify the cylinders as being retestedOperates forkliftReceives incoming new cylinders, valves, and cylinder maintenance suppliesRepairs cylinder neck leaks and safety leaksInspects and scraps defective cylindersPaints cylindersHousekeeping & light Plant maintenanceRequirementsHigh School Degree or equivalent preferredGas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferredAble to handle up to 40 - 70 lbs. on occasionMechanically inclinedMotivated attitudeLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
