Forklift Driver

Position Forklift Driver - Logistics Location Fremont, CA Reports to Logistics Supervisor Summary Operates forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring safe handling, accurate inventory, and timely supply to production while supporting shipping, packaging, and overall warehouse efficiency. Demonstrates basic utilization of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting. Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass a successful background check and drug screen. Forklift certification is a plus. Requirements Minimum of 3 years or more of experience in a similar role in the automotive industry or similar. Skills / Abilities Fluent on English (speak and write). Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP systems). Experience with automotive logistics processes. Knowledge of material handling, forklift driving, follow procedures. Logistics processes knowledge. Positive attitude, flexible work schedules, energetic, and able to perform physical activities. Able to communicate clearly, follow orders, propose improvements, and be disciplined. Respectful with others, service oriented. Disciplined and work instructions/procedures oriented. Duties / Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move, load, and unload materials. Supply production lines with required parts and remove finished goods. Support shipping and receiving by staging, loading, and unloading trailers. Perform routine equipment checks (battery, fuel, tires, etc.) and report issues. Ensure materials are stored in proper locations according to warehouse standards. Follow inventory control procedures; assist with cycle counts and stock accuracy. Maintain clean and safe work areas, complying with company safety policies. Perform other warehouse/logistics duties as assigned. Preferred Shift: A Shift – Sun–Tue & every other Sat (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) B Shift – Wed–Fri & every other Sat (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) C Shift – Sun–Tue & every other Sat (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) D Shift – Wed–Fri & every other Sat (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
