Numerical Control Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer to provide expertise in numerical control (NC), machining, programming, and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in support of new and ongoing manufacturing projects. This role is responsible for establishing manufacturing requirements, developing CNC programs, and supporting the production and inspection of complex components. The ideal candidate will help drive process improvements, implement advanced machining technologies, and mentor team members while working with minimal supervision.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise in numerical control (NC), machining, and CNC programming to support the manufacture of precision components and assemblies.Establish technical requirements for manufacturing, producibility, and process planning.Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), toolpaths, geometry, and manufacturing documentation used to produce and inspect parts, tooling, and assemblies.Plan and support the implementation of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, software, and equipment.Develop and maintain CNC programs for:Mazak MillsMazak LathesZimmerman machinesLarge-Scale Additive Manufacturing (LSAM) systemsHexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize machining processes and improve production efficiency.Mentor junior programmers and support continuous improvement initiatives.Required QualificationsExperience with Mastercam, Vericut, and CATIA V5.Experience programming CNC machining centers and inspection equipment.Minimum 3 years of experience using ENOVIA/CATIA.Minimum 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.Strong understanding of machining processes for metallic and polymer components.Experience supporting manufacturing of complex precision parts.Preferred ExperienceProgramming multi-axis CNC machines.Experience machining aluminum, titanium, and polymer materials.Experience supporting additive manufacturing processes.Knowledge of DFMA principles.Experience with CMM programming using PC-DMIS.
