The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead this practice, bringing their expertise to an already thriving, award-winning MGA. This role is ideal for a proven Marine Vice President or Head of Marine who is ready to take on a more entrepreneurial challenge and build something special from the ground up. Alternatively, it may suit an individual who is currently the #2 within their marine division and is looking to make a name for themselves in a natural next step up.The role requires the ability to open doors with brokers, attract capacity from insurers and reinsurers, and have a strong network of underwriters to recruit for the team. The ideal candidate will be a Marine Underwriter with experience in either Hull & Machinery, P&I, or Marine Cargo, and will be naturally driven and entrepreneurial, with a focus on long-term earning potential. The Head of Ocean Marine will be responsible for running the existing team and will be excited about the prospect of substantial growth and success in this new venture.
