Production Worker in the Skin DepartmentThe Production Worker in the Skin Department plays a key role in supporting the construction process of trailers. This position involves attaching sheet metal fenders and wall trim, installing aluminum sheets, applying specialized tapes, caulking, and placing decals. Additionally, the role requires hooking up trailer lighting, while consistently adhering to high-quality control standards.Duties/Responsibilities:Install aluminum sheets, specialized tapes, caulk, and decals with attention to detailAttach fenders and wall trim to trailersHook up and test trailer lighting to ensure functionalityConsistently meet high quality and control standards throughout the production processLearn and become proficient in other production roles, stepping in to assist other team members as necessaryWork in a fast paced environment with a focus on safety and qualityMaintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiencyAdhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment at all timesRequired Skills/Abilities:Proficient in working with tools including: table saw, chop saw, radial arm saw, drywall screw gun, sawzall, stomp shear, sheet metal brake, and general hand toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong physical stamina, with the ability to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsTeam-oriented, professional, and eager to contribute to a positive work environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of production qualityDemonstrated ability to work safely and follow all safety rulesDemonstrated ability to accurately read a tape measureExperience with tools such as drywall screw gun, table saw, jig saw, miter saw, and general hand toolsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environmentPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Capacity to stand for extended periodsMust be able to bend at the waist, kneel, and squat, walk, climb up and down ladders/scaffolding, stoop, carry materials.Work Hours: Monday - Thursday | 7:00am - 5:30pmPay Rate: $18 - $20/hrBenefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceBasic Life InsuranceSupplement Life InsuranceFlex Spending Account and Dependent Care AccountPet insuranceVacation and/or Sick time accrualsRain Instant pay (Can receive up to 50% of the pay you have earned before each pay period)401(k) with Employer MatchInterstate Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
