This position is also accountable for CAPEX projects.RequirementsEssential Job DutiesServes as the process expert for all manufacturing processes on-site and leads in the troubleshooting of technology, and quality-related issues, interfacing with corporate teams as necessaryIdentifying, initiating, and leading projects to improve process safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and productivity through engineering and continuous improvement methodsWorks with various functions to identify and transfer processes/products into the site to balance capacity utilizationDirects activities so that approved products and projects are introduced on time working with internal maintenance teams and outside contractor partners as requiredEnsures new production processes are implemented in compliance with EHS regulations, cost control, waste reduction and quality standardsTroubleshooting defects and variation, performing root cause analysis, applying systematic problem-solving techniques, and implementing sustainable solutionsEngaging in daily operations to resolve equipment downtime issues, assure quality and productivity, and meet service targetsCreating and maintaining product/process documentation, including specifications, test methods, and change management documentationProvides critical support to the site leadership in the cultural journeys of EHS, Quality, Customer Focus, and Continuous ImprovementDrives visual operation performance metrics to the shop floorCommunicate with the site and corporate Leadership teams as requiredReports to the Plant Manager and provides support for ad hoc assignments from plant and corporate teamRequired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related fieldFive years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment The physical demands and work environment require an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility.
