Project Engineer - Power Generation (Direct Hire) Salary: Up to $160,000 Location: Orlando, FL Ready to lead complex engineering projects that support critical energy infrastructure? We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for large-scale power generation projects. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to work cross-functionally with engineering, project management, construction, and subcontractor teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering activities for power generation and industrial energy projects. Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, engineering standards, industry codes, and project specifications. Manage project schedules, technical deliverables, RFQs, commissioning plans, testing procedures, and engineering documentation. Coordinate engineering resources, subcontractors, and design teams to support project execution. Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and support successful project delivery. Collaborate with project management teams to achieve schedule, budget, quality, and performance goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. Experience leading engineering design efforts for power generation, utility, energy, EPC, or industrial infrastructure projects. Strong background in project coordination, technical leadership, and multi-discipline engineering teams. Experience with project scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. PE License and/or PMP certification is a plus. Why Join Us?
