A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Medicine Specialty/n/nJob Details:/n• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex/n• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required/n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required/n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients/n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments/n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures/n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients/n• Administer medications as prescribed/n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products/n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning/n• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel/n• Delegate tasks to support staff/n• Required certifications: Current RN License (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC) and Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)/n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required/n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred/n• Strong verbal and written communication skills required/n• Computer skills necessary/n/nFacility:/nThis major academic medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced medical services and specialty care.
