Infant Teacher- FT

Some of the exciting things you will do as an Infant Teacher include, but are not limited to:
Make a difference everyday!
Work collaboratively with all teachers to ensure consistency throughout the program
Work collaboratively and contribute to daily lesson plans that challenge students at all levels
Communicate daily with parents through verbal face to face, email, daily sheets, etc.
Work with and perform duties assigned by your lead teacher
Represent Open Minds in a professional manner
Build positive relationships in our surrounding communities
Be a positive role model for your students
Effectively manage your classroom/age group
Attend monthly curriculum training (High Scope)
Job Requirements
At least 21 years of age
Possess an Associates Degree or Bachelors degree. We may accept a degree in a related field with at least 12 hours in child development or early childhood education.
At least one year of experience working in a licensed child care facility.
Proficiency with classroom technology (IPads, laptops, etc.)
Ability to sit, stoop, bend to low level positions that best allow interactions with the students
Current CPR and First Aid training
Pass pre-employment screening and fingerprint background check
Preferred Qualifications
The ability to lift 40 lbs is strongly desired, and may be required in some classrooms
