Senior Project ManagerA well-established Northern California general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee DSA, K-12, and public works construction projects throughout the South Bay/Sacramento region. This role will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout while overseeing budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution.The ideal candidate has strong experience operating within public agency and regulated construction environments and can successfully manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, active campuses, and fast-paced schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesManage DSA, K-12, and public works projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and buyoutDevelop and maintain project schedules and milestone trackingLead subcontractor procurement, contract management, and scope coordinationManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall project documentationCoordinate closely with Superintendents to support field execution and project deliveryMaintain communication with owners, architects, school districts, consultants, and public agenciesSupport preconstruction efforts including budgeting, value engineering, and constructability reviewsIdentify project risks proactively and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget goalsLead OAC meetings and provide project updates to internal and external stakeholdersEnsure projects remain compliant with DSA requirements, inspections, and documentation standardsOversee project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout activitiesRequirements• 8-10+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor• Strong experience managing DSA, K-12, or public works construction projects required• Proven ability to manage projects from award through closeout• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control• Experience coordinating with public agencies, inspectors, and consultants• Experience managing large-scale or technically complex construction projects• Experience with lease-leaseback, CMAR, or design-build delivery methods preferred• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or related construction software preferred• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & Benefits• Competitive base salary + bonus potential• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• 401(k) with company contribution• Paid holidays and PTO
