Requires proficient knowledge of SQL. Must be a results-oriented problem solver who enjoys a variety of challenges, can work independently and has solid communication skills. Duties· Database administration of SAP ASE (Sybase ASE) RDBMS· Creating tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and queries.· Continuous DB performance monitoring and tuning.· Assist PHP/Java developers in queries and database troubleshooting and optimizing.· Execute updates to DB objects associated with application releases, update GIT Version Control.· Monitor, maintain and optimize the SAP Replication Server environment.· Maintain DB security compliance.· Maintain documentation and standards.· Patch Management and upgrades to the RDBMS.· Help manage DB design and implementation· Develop Business Intelligence queries and dashboards· Maintain Database Disaster Recovery for our global operations.Requirements· Three plus years of SQL experience mandatory, including design of tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, etc. SAP ASE (Sybase) experience a plus. SAP Replication Server experience a plus.· Experience in RDBMS administration, maintenance and performance tuning.· Linux/Unix shell scripting (bash, perl, python) a plus.· Knowledgeable in Excel formulas and functions.· QlikView experience a plus.
