SMT/Electro Mechanical Assembler (02831)

This role is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in high-quality communication, switching, and fiber optic products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), hand soldering, and electronic assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform SMT and through-hole electronic assembly on PCB assemblies and electronic devicesHand place and solder fine-pitch SMT components and electronic partsOperate and assist with pick-and-place SMT equipment and related production machineryRead and follow blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and work ordersInspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 workmanship standardsConduct visual inspections and basic functional testing of assembliesAssist with rework, repairs, and troubleshooting of PCB assemblies as neededQualificationsPrevious experience in SMT assembly, PCB assembly, or electronics manufacturing requiredExperience with fine-pitch hand soldering and component placementFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 standards preferredExperience operating pick-and-place machines is a plusAbility to identify electronic components and read assembly documentationBasic computer skills preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred SkillsIPC certification preferredExperience working in a regulated or high-quality manufacturing environmentMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with fiber optic or communication products is a plus Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
