Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.Astro Pak is seeking a Cleanroom Technical Estimator to prepare accurate, strategic technical bid proposals for high-purity cleaning and passivation services. This role reviews drawings, specifications, and process requirements to determine labor, materials, equipment, and cost structures that align with customer scope and operational execution.The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, experience working with technical documentation, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams. This position directly impacts pricing accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.This role works onsite Monday-Friday at our Titusville, Florida facility.What You'll Do:Review drawings, specifications, and procedural documentation to develop qualified scopes of workDetermine labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and associated project costsConduct time studies and validate labor and material utilizationPrepare accurate and timely technical bid proposals and quotesApply targeted markups and assess historical pricing trendsConduct bid-versus-actual analysis to improve pricing accuracyMaintain historical cost data and develop bidding metrics for cost justificationCollaborate with Sales, leadership, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to align bids with customer needs and operational capabilitiesFacilitate bid strategy, risk analysis, and post-job review meetingsSupport development of process work instructions and procedural improvementsEnsure bids comply with QMS standards and U.S. Export Control LawsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience1-3 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, manufacturing, sales, or cleanroom environments preferredExperience in chemical cleaning, industrial cleaning, waste management, or mechanical contracting/engineering preferredStrong analytical skills with ability to evaluate historical data and develop bidding metrics and cost proposal justificationProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Microsoft Project experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesBusiness acumen and solid estimation capabilitiesAbility to effectively collaborate across departments and interact with customers of varying backgrounds and experience levelsAbility to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and approach situations with critical thinking and decision-making skillsLegal capacity to comply with U.S. Export Control LawsWhy Join UsAstro Pak delivers high-purity cleaning solutions for critical industries that demand precision and compliance.
