*VA, Washington DC & Quincy, WA | Full-Time | $30-$72/Hour + Overtime*
We're hiring experienced *Electrical Testing Technicians* to perform acceptance testing, maintenance testing, troubleshooting, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical power distribution equipment.
Multiple openings are available in *Caroline County, Richmond, Tysons, Washington, DC, and Quincy, WA.* Positions range from Technician II through Senior Technician based on your experience and qualifications. Travel requirements vary by project, with opportunities ranging from local assignments to 100% travel.
*What You'll Do*
* Test and troubleshoot electrical power distribution systems
* Perform acceptance and maintenance testing of switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays, MCCs, and cables
* Conduct relay testing, insulation resistance, power factor, and other electrical tests
* Analyze test results and document findings
* Follow NFPA 70E and LOTO safety procedures
* Work independently or lead projects, depending on experience
*What We're Looking For*
* 5 -10+ years of electrical testing, field service, commissioning, or power distribution experience
* Experience with switchgear, transformers, breakers, protective relays, or medium-voltage systems
* Experience using Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, Fluke, or similar test equipment
* NETA or NICET certification is a plus
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
