Maintenance Planner & Parts CoordinatorThe Maintenance Planner & Parts Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities while ensuring the timely availability of parts, materials, and resources. This role supports maintenance efficiency, minimizes downtime, and improves equipment reliability through effective planning and inventory management.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Planning & Scheduling Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plansSchedule work orders and prioritize tasks based on operational needsCoordinate labor, tools, and materials for maintenance activitiesMaintain and update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ensure work orders are properly documented, tracked, and closed outParts & Inventory Management Identify and order parts required for planned and emergency maintenanceMaintain accurate inventory levels for critical spare partsTrack usage trends and adjust stock levels to reduce downtime riskWork with vendors to source parts, obtain quotes, and ensure timely deliveryManage receiving, storage, and organization of parts and materialsCoordination & Communication Collaborate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and operations teamsCommunicate schedules, delays, and resource needs effectivelyAssist in outage planning and major repair coordinationContinuous Improvement Analyze maintenance data to improve planning efficiencyReduce downtime through better part availability and schedulingIdentify cost-saving opportunities in parts procurement and inventory controlSupport reliability and preventive maintenance initiativesQualifications & ExperienceExperience in maintenance, manufacturing, or facilities operations preferredStrong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systemsExperience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, eMaint, etc.)Inventory or parts management experience highly preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to read technical manuals, parts diagrams, and equipment documentationWe offer a competitive benefits package that begins on your date of hire.
