Pharmacy Manager

Job Description Pharmacy Manager 200 Bed Hospital located within close proximity to Dallas, Texas. The Pharmacy Manager is involved in the coordination of the daily activities of the assigned practice area. Complete administrative role - no dispensing and Monday to Friday day shift schedule. This position works closely with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure that the practice area has appropriate staffing levels, staff are compliant with hospital and department policies and competencies, and ensures area adheres to federal, state and local regulatory guidelines. Major Responsibilities:Responsible for development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.Leads staff development projects (design, implementation, measuring impact).Assists in planning, design, implementation and demonstrates the value of pharmacy services.Assists with the recruitment of new employees for the department.
