Part Time Network Lab Support Engineer

Shift Information:This is a Fully Onsite, and Part Time Position- 20 hours per week (Flexible schedule of 4hrs x 5 days or 5hrs x 4 days)!Pay range starts at $55+/hr!Through the end of 2026 to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time. Job Description:Position is primarily responsible for supporting network lab operations, wireless/network troubleshooting, and maintaining the physical integrity of the lab environment.Position will also be responsible for performing routine network checks, supporting physical Layer 1 connectivity setup, and resolving connectivity issues efficiently within a fast-paced environment.Position will be in charge of maintaining and updating documentation/processes, monitoring tasks and potential issues, and supporting networking hardware infrastructure including controllers, access points, and servers. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is highly preferred!Experience supporting networking infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments is required!Wireless networking experience with controllers and access points is required!Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and supporting lab infrastructure environments is required!Experience working with networking hardware including switching, routing, SD-WAN, controllers, and server environments is required!Ability to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple support tasks is required!Experience updating documentation, processes, and supporting operational network activities is required!Experience with Aruba networking products including controllers, AirWave, ClearPass, Meridian, and wireless solutions is preferred!Please forward this email to any friends or colleagues as we do offer a Referral Bonus for any candidate who is hired and still gainfully employed after 30 days!Who We Are:The Fountain Group is a nationwide staffing firm based out of Tampa, FL 33607 with over 80 Fortune 100-500 clients.
