If you’re the right person then we’ll find a way to make the most of what you have to offer.Position SummaryThe Human Resources Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, leave administration, employee relations, performance review management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance. The HR Generalist works onsite at our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Eugene, Oregon, typically Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm with additional hours as needed.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreates employee files, transfer to active/inactive and maintains employee files according to filing standards.Scans and files all HR documents, maintains accurate and compliant HRIS and ATS files.Administers and maintains employee handbook and policiesParticipates in developing department goals, objectives and systemsMonitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessaryPerforms benefits administration to include open enrollment, orientations, claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employeesDevelops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO- I report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulationsConducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employeesSupports the administration of employee programs such as performance management, employee appreciation, open enrollment, tuition reimbursement, KRS logo apparel, wellness programs, safety, and other programs as assignedSupports the administration of corporate programs such as Glassdoor reviews, Oregon Business Top 100 surveys, training surveys, and other programs as assignedWrites and places job advertisements, monitors ad performance and budgetAssists with administering Worker’s Compensation ClaimsConducts new-employee onboarding and orientationsParticipates in administrative staff meetings and other HR or department specific meetingsAttends seminars and workshops to stay up to date on state and federal rules and regulations to ensure complianceAssists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goalsRecommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performedAssists with internal investigations as neededAdministrates FMLA , Paid Leave Oregon, and Short-Term DisabilityMaintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employmentPerforms other related duties as required and assignedSupervise and back up Reception.RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent hands-on HR experience.2+ years of proven experience managing high-volume recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including full-cycle recruiting from requisition through onboarding.Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong working knowledge of core HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance.Experience partnering with hiring managers to support workforce needs and deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and follow-through.King Retail Solutions OffersMedical, Dental, and Vision plan401(k) with company contributionFlexible Spending AccountShort-Term Disability (company provided)Long-Term DisabilitySupplemental Life InsuranceProfit SharingTuition ReimbursementPaid holidays and Paid Time Off
