Press Operator Star Extruded Shapes/Star Fab, Inc. is a locally owned aluminum extrusion company with more than 40 years in business. We are seeking a motivated Press Operator to join our every-growing team! Excellent opportunities with competitive wages for those willing to learn and work. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but NOT necessary. * Pre-employment drug screening is required but does not include THC testing * Duties and Responsibilities: Assist supervisor assuring quality metal and production being an extension of the supervisor. Must be able to read prints and schedule in order to determine good production also understand alloys and proper extrusion of each. Understand the press and keep it maintained spraying, waxing, soaping as needed to prevent downtime Teach the die header how to run the press and assist the supervisor with quality and smooth consistent production Must be able to take direction and apply it independently Must have good leadership, be a people person and have good communication. Must be able to potentially work weekends, and over-time as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including varying temperatures, and noise. Must be physically able to perform job duties.
