Position SummaryUnder supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain the hospital's patient, non-patient and public areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary and attractive condition.Job ResponsibilitiesEmpty, clean and reline waste baskets.Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary assigned work area at all times.Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, mirrors and commodes.Assists in soiled linen pick-up.Use microfiber and vacuum cleaner and or damp dusting ceilings, walls, vents, drapery rods etc. and all high touch surfaces. Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma preferred.Relevant experience is preferred but not required.Able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.
