Northwest Health - Porter in Valparaiso, Indiana is seeking a Program Director for our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. Responsibilities: Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical Must have 3+ years' experience in academic medicine as Core Faculty or Program Director Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education is maintained Establish strategic direction of the program, its standards, quality, and reputation of the Family Medicine Residency program as followed by faculty and residents Residency program practice management, overall residency operations, and resident oversight Program recruitment, interviews, and selection of residents; six residents are welcomed per year Recruit and oversee faculty and clinical rotations Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine, consistent with ACGME guidelines Teach residents through clinical and didactic work Requirements: Board certified in Family Medicine Clinically practicing physician Documented educational and/or administrative experience required Experience in graduate medical education required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to effectively deal with a broad range of people and personalities Competitive Compensation & Benefits Package May Include: Generous base salary plus bonus incentives Relocation assistance and commencement bonus Medical education loan repayment assistance Residency stipend for qualifying candidates Full malpractice coverage Comprehensive health benefits package including 401(k) Excellent health benefits with 401K Paid CME time with annual allowance Personal time off (PTO) NORTHWEST HEALTH - Committed to Our Community.
