Controller | Fully RemoteWe’re partnering with a growing, project-driven services organization looking for a hands-on Controller to own its day-to-day accounting operations and help strengthen the financial infrastructure of the business.This is not a purely strategic or high-level finance position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the details - owning the close, ensuring financial accuracy, managing cash and working capital, improving processes, and providing leadership with clear financial visibility.You'll work closely with a Fractional CFO, executive leadership, Operations, and Project Management, giving you significant exposure across the organization.What You’ll OwnMonthly, quarterly, and annual closeGeneral ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliationsMonthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reportingAR aging, collections, cash visibility, and working capitalVariance analysis and financial reportingCustomer and project-level margin reportingRevenue and cost forecastingInternal controls and accounting process improvementAccounting workflow documentation and reporting automationBudgeting and forecasting support alongside the Fractional CFOWhat We're Looking For5–8+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong full-cycle accounting and month-end close experienceStrong GAAP knowledgeAdvanced Excel skillsFinancial reporting and variance-analysis experienceStrong understanding of AR, AP, cash flow, and working capitalBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceProject/service-based business experience preferredQuickBooks experience preferredThe formal JD specifically calls for full-cycle accounting ownership, strong GAAP knowledge, working-capital awareness, advanced analytical skills, Excel modeling, and the ability to establish structure and accountability.Who Could Be a Great Fit?You don't necessarily need to already have the Controller title.If you're currently an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or experienced Senior Accountant and you're already handling much of the accounting function, this could be an opportunity to step into broader ownership and a Controller-level role.Location: Fully RemoteCompensation: $75,000–$90,000Employment: Full-Time
