ResponsibilitiesPerform complex structural calculations for new and existing buildingsDevelop construction documents for the design of new structures and modifications to existing structures per the current California Building CodeCreate markups of other design professional's drawings using BluebeamDevelop drawings in AutoCad and REVITEvaluation and strengthening of existing buildings per the California Existing Building Code.Seismic evaluation of existing buildings using ASCE 41Visit construction sites to perform structural observation to verify general conformance with the approved drawings.Provide technical guidance to staff and prepare structural reports.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis (required)Experience with the California Building Code and structural references.Professional Engineering registration in California preferred.REVIT and CAD experienceStrong organizational and communication skills
