River Lodge Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for serving food and beverages with the highest level of customer service to guests throughout the restaurant and pool area. They are responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the FOH, server stations, bar area, and knowing all aspects of the menu descriptions and specialty cocktails, all server/bartender side work and communicating with both guests and management to ensure brand standards are met at all times.Responsibilities and DutiesShows up for work on time in dress code with all tools, pens, wine opener, pad. Accurately describes menu items, Property history, specialty drinks and wine for complete guest satisfactionKnows cocktail recipes and how to build cocktailsKnowledge on spirits and flavor profiles of the cocktail menuCreates cocktails in a timely manner and works well under pressureDescribes all dishes accurately and knows all dishes including allergies and dietary restrictionsSpecial events as needed and work holiday and special services as needed. Take orders and serve guests at the pool area while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pool sectionAccommodates any special requests and checks with kitchen to ensure we can accommodateMaintains table appearance by prebussing throughout the entire meal. Handles money efficiently and accuratelyProperly ring in food & drinks into POS accuratelyCan safely and swiftly carry a tray of drinks and properly serve them without having to put tray on tableMaintains a safe and sanitary work environmentCommunicates with guests regarding menu and beverages & property information and historyUpsells menu items and specials to maximize food and beverage revenueServes menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standardsNotes timing of meal progression and notifies kitchen and or managementPerforms pre and post side work efficientlySettles guest payments; makes accurate change for guest and processes credit card transactions correctlyMonitors and observes guest’s dining experience.
