Job Description Supervising Social Worker - Marin CountySalary Range: $75,518 - $90,621 AnnuallyAre you looking to make an impact and do work you are passionate about?GGRC is looking for a Supervising Social Worker in our Marin office to provide supervision of assigned Social Workers and carry out administrative functions in relation to that supervisor and provide services to clients as assigned to Social Workers.When you are considering a new job, it's normal to have tons of questions. Here are a few things we get asked all the time:Where will I work?This role offers a hybrid schedule giving you the opportunity to work in with clients in their homes in Marin County, from our San Rafael office and from the comfort of your own home.What you'll Do:Supervise assigned staff by providing leadership and enabling staff to efficiently utilize time and resourcesParticipate in the hiring of staff and subsequent training and evaluation of assigned staffRepresent administration on internal and community committees and task forces as assignedAssist in the development and implementation of policies and proceduresProvides coaching and monitoring of employee's performance and conducts an annual performance evaluation for employeesReview and approve required and/or appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with established standardsServe as a administrative and supervisory back up to the Manager Regional Center ServicesSupervise/manage social workers involved with the initial and/or continuing social assessments of clients and in overall case planningPrepare monthly statistics of intake and referralsReview and process all documentation created by each staff memberPerform Supervisor of Day functions as required by OfficeServe as back up to Social Workers as neededParticipate in the Supervisory On-Call rotation on a voluntary basisParticipate in special projects, and assist with additional duties or tasks, as assignedMaintain all client information as confidential in compliance with the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Lanterman ActPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.RequirementsWho you are:Experience in multi-cultural settings and/or multi-lingual capacityDemonstrated knowledge of agency policy and proceduresTraining and facilitationInterview techniques to ensure person centered planningStrong managerial skillsKnowledge of principles, objectives and techniques of counseling individualsKnowledge of normal and abnormal individual and group behavior, human growth and development of family relationshipsKnowledge of community structure and organization and how to intervene constructively on client's behalfAbility to maintain case records in a clear and concise mannerWritten communication: ability to develop standard business communications, using proper grammar, spelling and punctuationOral communication: ability to convey complex information and ideas in a clear, concise and professional mannerAbility to operate basic office equipmentBasic familiarity with MS Word&reg;, MS Excel&reg;, MS PowerPoint&reg;, MS Outlook&reg; or similar software applicationsEducation:Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Social Work or related human services field required.
