Electrician

JOB OVERVIEW We are a Federal Contractor seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our team. Our projects are located throughout the state of California. Current projects at Vandenberg SFB , Potterville, Fort Hunter Liggett. State Certification is required, requires travel. Pay is based on the Federal or State Prevailing Wage rates, and is dependent upon the project. QUALIFICATIONS State certification required / Proven experience as an Electrician Minimum five (5) years’ experience on low and high voltage systems Must prioritize safety over production Able to install, maintain and repair electrical systems and in compliance with NEC standards. Must be capable of reading and interpreting plans, technical diagrams & specifications Must be able to pass a background check Must have a clean driver’s license Must be able to gain and maintain access to federal bases Manage time effectively to meet or exceed project deadlines while maintaining quality standards Must be a Team Player and maintain a positive professional attitude Must be well organized, able to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks Ability to read and write in English PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a mobile position that involves work at a construction site where duties are performed both indoors and outdoors. Job duties require the endurance and ability visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures; ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground; Capacity to occasionally physically lift and/or move up to 65lbs; Dexterity of hands & fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines; Reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
