DSPs in this program are responsible for providing active support to individuals in the family home and/or in the community. Areas of support will include health maintenance, medication administration, personal cares, behavior management and life skills development.Responsibilities of this position will include:Accompanying individuals to community and social eventsAssisting individuals with personal care responsibilities, administer medications and provide transportation based on individual needsSupervising, teaching independent skills, and providing guidance to children and adults with disabilities and mental illness in a variety of home, community, and social settingsDocumenting individual information as required by the Person-Centered Service PlanMaintaining flexibility and composure while working alone or in a team environmentCompleting the competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division.Other duties not listed above may be assigned.Required:Must be at least 18 years oldCurrent driver's license Preferred:Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesEEO, including disability/vets
