This position will be located at various sites.QUALIFICATIONS:Registered certified/licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in an educational setting dealing with severely handicapped children.Plan, direct, and administer an occupational therapy program for multi-handicapped students, per IEP of the students.Perform diagnostic occupational therapy, assessments and administer the necessary treatmentInstruct and demonstrate the exercises to students which are implemented at home as well as school, as prescribed by the student's physician.Maintain accurate records of inventory and efficient preparation of progress reports.Must be able to assist students that require lifting.Complete School Based Child Health Services (SBCHS) billing.Assist in following equipment return procedures to the student's designated district school.Salary and Terms of Employment:Regular per-diem hourly rate based upon salary of individual selected. No holidays, vacation or sick leave during this scheduled program. Applicants who cannot work through the entire program due to scheduling conflicts should not apply.
