Regional Operations Coordinator

Pay: From $350.00 per weekJob description:Core ResponsibilitiesScheduling & CoverageMaintain full ownership of staff scheduling using ConnectTeamManage schedule adjustments, shift trades, and time-off requestsProactively handle both planned and last-minute coverage needsStep in to cover shifts personally when required to ensure uninterrupted operationsStaff Training & OversightOnboard and train new staff in policies, procedures, and customer service standardsConsistently enforce cleanliness standards, performance expectations, and operational rulesIdentify performance issues early and address them directly with staffLead difficult conversations when necessary and escalate issues appropriately to leadershipOperational & Equipment OversightEnsure lounges are clean, well-presented, and operating at a high standardAct as the primary liaison between staff and leadership for equipment maintenance, updates, and repairsProactively track, document, and report operational or technical issuesCollaboration & Program SupportCollaborate with the Program Coordinator to support scheduling and execution of programs as neededProvide additional on-site support during programs or peak times when multiple GLOs are required (for quality assurance and cost efficiency)Participate in operations meetings with leadership, team members, and external partnersCreative Leadership & Regional OwnershipAs the Regional Operations Coordinator, you are expected to take active ownership of the venues within your region, not only operationally, but creatively.Design and implement new experiences, activities, and engagement strategies during open lounge hoursIdentify opportunities to increase participation, repeat visits, and community connectionPilot new ideas, formats, or engagement models that align with Metro Esports mission and brandSee creative initiatives through from concept to execution, including staff coordination and on-site rolloutEvaluate what works, iterate on what doesnt, and share insights with leadership to inform broader strategyThis role is not limited to maintaining the status quo. You are encouraged to think like an owner, take initiative, and help shape how our spaces feel, function, and grow within your region.Compensation StructureFlat Leadership Fee: $350 per weekGLO Shifts: $15/hourPrograms: Program-specific pay rate, as applicableThis role combines a stable weekly leadership fee with hourly compensation for Guest Lounge Operator (GLO) shifts and additional program opportunities. This is not a full-time position, but candidates should expect to work approximately 1530 hours per week across leadership responsibilities, GLO shifts, and programs.Some leadership and administrative duties may be completed during GLO shifts, provided that guest experience and lounge oversight remain the top priority. Other responsibilities will require off-site work or additional on-site hours.
