In this role you will own the category P&L and drives sustained growth through trend-forward innovation, bold assortment strategies, and best-in-class omnichannel execution.You will bring strong merchant instincts, proven people leadership, and the ability to identify white-space opportunities while remaining deeply connected to execution. Highly collaborative and commercially driven, you will partner across the enterprise to deliver culturally relevant assortments, compelling customer experiences, and financial results—while building and developing a high-performing team.Responsibilities include:Own and deliver the skincare category P&L, driving sales, margin, and share growth across a $1B+ businessSet and execute a clear, forward-looking category strategy and innovation roadmap grounded in customer and market insightBuild and evolve a differentiated, trend-right assortment by identifying white-space opportunities, emerging trends, ingredients, and brandsLead vendor strategy, fostering strong partnerships and negotiating to unlock joint growth and value creationDevelop and execute integrated promotional and pricing strategies across weekly, seasonal, and annual programsPartner cross-functionally (Inventory, Pricing, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Operations, Digital) to deliver seamless omnichannel executionElevate CVS.com as a destination for skincare through strong digital merchandising and storytellingAnalyze performance and consumer behavior to continuously optimize assortment, pricing, and promotionsMaintain a strong pulse on the competitive landscape and evolving consumer needsLead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while building a strong pipeline of future leadersChampion inclusive, customer-obsessed strategies that reflect and serve a diverse customer baseRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experience in beauty/skincare merchandising, category management, or related business leadership roles with full P&L ownershipPrevious experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teamsProven track record of delivering or exceeding financial targets in a complex, fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of Beauty trends, ingredients, and evolving consumer behaviorsDemonstrated ability to pivot quickly, solve problems in real time, and balance strategy with hands-on executionDemonstrated analytical, strategic, and storytelling skills—turning insights into actionWillingness to travel up to 30%, based on business needsEducation:Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experiencePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
