As part of the Marmon Plumbing & Refrigeration Group, we combine the strength of a global organization with the agility of a local business, and we’re just getting started.What You’ll DoThis newly created position is a key finance leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting the continued growth of the business. As Controller, you will play a critical role in both day-to-day financial management and building the infrastructure needed to sustain long-term growth.In This Role, You WillLead core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, A/P check review, and audit prepDocument workflows and define internal controls (Requisition-to-Payment, Order-to-Cash)Support the development of a scalable, sustainable costing systemMaintain our parent company’s corporate consolidation systemManage and develop the accounting teamHave full Controller-level responsibility for financial reporting, balance sheet and P&L management, and internal controlsPartner with the Finance leader to provide insights and financial leadership to the President and executive teamLeading month-end reporting, supporting FP&A, and assisting with budgeting and forecastingDriving business support, financial strategy, and continuous improvement across the organizationWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing environmentStrong background in FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reportingProficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred); ERP implementation experience is a plusAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with consolidation systems is a bonusStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skillsClear and effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersWillingness to be hands-on with transactional work when needed, especially during system transitions or project phasesPreferredPublic accounting or audit backgroundExperience with complex manufacturing cost structuresDemonstrated success in high-growth or transformation-stage environmentsWhat You’ll GainThe chance to help shape financial systems and strategy from the ground upDirect exposure to executive leadership and cross-functional decision-makingA collaborative, high-impact work environment focused on growth and innovationComprehensive benefits, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePrescription drug coverage401(k) with company matchFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
