Position OverviewDishwashers are responsible for collecting used dishes, utensils, and cookware, loading and unloading dish machines, and ensuring all kitchenware and service items are properly cleaned and stocked. This position helps maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen-supporting our chefs and front-of-house team in providing an exceptional guest experience. Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas. Load and unload dishwashing machines efficiently and safely. Wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, large cookware, or delicate glassware). Store clean dishes, glassware, and utensils properly and restock as needed. Ensure adequate supply of clean items during peak service hours. Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents, sanitizers). Monitor dishwashing machine operation and promptly report any issues. Remove garbage regularly and dispose of waste per company policy. Clean and sanitize kitchen, restrooms, and lobby areas as assigned. Experience and QualificationsPrevious experience as a Dishwasher or in a kitchen support role preferred. Ability to follow direction, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. Attention to detail and strong understanding of sanitation and safety standards. Team-oriented with a positive, dependable attitude. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Washington State Food Worker Card required prior to first day of work. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical DemandsStand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
