Job Title: Structural Welder Job Location: Mobile, AL (Local candidates preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Flux Core welding processes and capable of producing high-quality welds in multiple positions. This role involves working with structural steel components and performing welds using backing straps. Key Responsibilities: Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions Weld structural steel components according to project specifications Utilize backing straps where required Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Qualifications: Proven experience as a Structural Welder Proficiency in FCAW welding (2G, 3G, 4G) Ability to pass required welding tests Knowledge of structural fabrication and welding procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $34.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience with Flux Core (FCAW) welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions?
