Job Title: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Merrifield, VAType: ContractCompensation:Contractor Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remoteHours: 40.0Security Clearance: Not specifiedOverviewResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and execute all aspects of life-cycle projects from inception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budgetDevelop detailed project plans including scope, expectations, activities, cost estimates, and schedulesCollaborate with business units to understand and translate requirements into actionable project plansLead project teams through all phases: planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and transitionCreate and maintain clear project documentation and ensure deliverables meet client expectationsManage project budgets, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overrunsIdentify, communicate, and resolve issues impacting project timelines or qualityOversee vendor contracts, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and proper contract managementCoordinate resources, establish team objectives, and manage personnel changes and trainingProvide regular project status updates to management and stakeholdersFacilitate project meetings, escalate issues as needed, and work towards resolving project challengesPromote team development and build a collaborative environment for project successEnsure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and processes for complex, high-stakes projectsRequirementsExtensive experience managing multiple large, complex projectsDeep understanding of project lifecycles, methodologies, and business requirements analysisProven ability to develop and maintain relationships across organizational unitsStrong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of contract management and legal aspects related to projectsProficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office suitePMP Certification or equivalent experience managing enterprise projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field, or equivalent experienceSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
