Plant ControllerMeyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire a Plant Controller for the Plant Operation located in Gadsden, AL. The Plant Controller will provide leadership and coordination of all plant financial decisions and product line analysis, ensuring financial reporting accuracy. The Plant Controller will be the business partner for the Plant Manager and other key leaders for strategic decisioning for the Gadsden plant.Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today's transmission industry standards and specifications.What You'll Do:Provide financial leadership while supporting operations through reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and investment/returns analysis.Develop sustainable, scalable accounting and financial platforms in addition to implementing process improvements and establishing internal controls.Responsible for all plant financial results and analysisInventory control & reporting to include physical inventories, reserve analysis, cycle count programsCost accounting with Job performance analysisForecastingDaily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting including variance analysisMonth-end, Quarter-end, and Calendar-Year End ClosingsPrepare, analyze, and review all capital requests, along with post review of cost savings & spendingReturns analysisBudgeting and strategic planningProvide control oversight & adherence to the company's controls & guidelines, Sox controls and related audit requirementsPartner with the plant management team/BU management on continuous improvement & cost saving opportunitiesWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeCPA (preferred)Candidate must have strong background in GAAP reporting requirementsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Financial systems IFS, Oracle, Hyperion & ERP systemsDeep understanding of fabrication / manufacturing business and processesAbility to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, lean operationAbility to see projects through fruition with quick turnaround timesOutstanding analytical, quantitative and project management abilitiesResults-oriented and strong problem-solving skillsStrong, diplomatic communicatorSelf-driven and self-sufficient individualStrong team building and leadership skillsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
