Working in a collaborative, high-performing environment, you’ll help deliver mission-critical solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in aviation and national security.Position DetailsJob Type: Full-Time Contract (12 Months)Location: Hybrid – San Diego, CA 92128Schedule: Monday–Friday (9x80 schedule)Pay Rate: $105.00 per hourExperience Level: 5–12+ yearsWhat You’ll DoLead and mentor a team of 2–4 VHDL verification engineersDefine and maintain digital logic verification frameworks and architectures for software-defined radio systemsDevelop and execute comprehensive verification plans based on design requirementsSimulate and validate FPGA logic designs and system functionalityTroubleshoot simulation failures, identify root causes, and collaborate on solutionsPerform regression testing and produce verification metrics and reportsCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams (5–7 engineers total)What You BringRequired QualificationsExperience with VHDL design and verification methodologies for DoD communications systemsBackground in FPGA product lifecycle development (requirements through production release)Proven ability in technical task management, scheduling, and forecastingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectivelyExperience developing verification plans, test benches, and functional modelsProficiency with Siemens Questa SimulatorExcellent communication skills across technical and program teamsMust be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
