Title: Supply Chain Analyst 4Onsite Role – San Antonio, TX 78215Duration: 4–5 Months ContractPosition SummaryThis position is responsible for Supply Chain system administration, support, report development, and data analysis. The role focuses on developing ad hoc and standardized reporting, data visualization, trend analysis, and forecasting models to support operational and financial planning initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport both strategic and operational/tactical Supply Chain initiativesCreate and conduct advanced data and process validation testing scenariosIdentify reporting requirements, extract data from multiple sources, and compile user-friendly, actionable reportsUtilize SAP ERP and SAP/BI tools for research, reporting, and data analysisDevelop and maintain reporting views using existing data structures and reporting toolsTest and validate report accuracy, data integrity, and system performanceCreate forecasts and analyze datasets to comply with reporting guidelines and business requirementsDevelop, monitor, and analyze operational and financial metrics, including capital and O&M budgetsEvaluate existing tools and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and process improvement toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support Supply Chain initiatives and strategic objectivesFacilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business goals and provide analytical support for process and cost improvementsTrain end users on reporting tools, system usage, and data analysisMonitor reporting usage and customer information needs proactivelyEnsure data security and sensitivity standards are maintained before publishing reports or granting accessPerform other duties as assignedMinimum SkillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAdvanced knowledge of SAP content, reporting tools, table structures, SAP ERP, and SAP/BIExperience with Business Objects or similar reporting toolsFamiliarity with inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement, and workflow processesStrong understanding of variance analysis, budgeting processes, and business impact analysisAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teamsIntermediate understanding of program and project management conceptsStrong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levelsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and databasesAdvanced proficiency within Microsoft Windows environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related fieldExperience in Supply Chain Management or related analytical roles with increasing levels of responsibilityExperience developing process flow diagrams and utilizing Lean tools to improve operational efficiencyExperience leading project teams, developing dashboards, and supporting capital and O&M budget planningEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited university.
