Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

The Repairs Division is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support our growing business at our 200,000 square foot St. Louis Steam Turbine and Generator Repair Facility. The Senior FP&A Analyst will provide helpful support to our Finance and Operations teams. This position will not require travel.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in the development of the annual budget and monthly forecast for the Repairs Division
Responsible for the monthly post-closing reporting activities and tracking actual monthly results against the forecast on an on-going basis
Responsible for cash flow forecasting, including receivables and disbursements
Work closely with Corporate Finance colleagues in Latham, New York to present accurate and up-to-date business information
Prepare and support internal & external business presentations for executive team
Work with the Divisional Controller to provide information needed to lead the business and develop business strategy
Perform product line sales and margin analysis, including inventory turns analysis to help inform business approach to market and customer segmentation
Help drive change and business initiatives as required
Drive efficiency through increased automation of financial reporting
Support Finance and Operations team with ADHOC tasks as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Minimum 3 years' work experience in a financial analyst or accounting/finance role
Strong analytical mindset
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion and with high-quality output
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with superior Excel technical skills
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated ability to develop and drive standardized processes
Knowledge and/or experience with ERP systems, Epicor Kinetic a plus
Self-identifies areas of need and takes initiative
Experience in a services or manufacturing environment
Experience with multi-business unit organizations and working with cross-functional staff
